A storm of ice and snow had moved in sometime the night before, and it was still raging when he woke up. It was dangerous to be out, difficult to see, and impossible to fly. There would be no chance for him to take mail to anyone, though Tiberius worried more about any babies that might need rescuing. But he just couldn't, and the scouting aspect of his job would just have to wait until things got somewhat clear.
There was plenty to do in the sun and mind weather -- a lot of mail to be delivered, scouting to be done, all those good things. But at the same time, it was just nice to fly and explore a little, to feel the sun and see new sights. Aurora enjoyed it, Tiberius enjoyed it, and it was a good time for everyone.
