Zebey is rather young for one of the elven race, and therefore looks to be around her young twenties. Her skin is a deep gray blue, marked only by some scars from her worse battle wounds. Her face has pronounced cheekbones, a small nose, and delicate lips. Her face is oval in shape, which is usually partially obscured by her hair. The bright red locks are parted to the side, her banks covering one of her bright silver eyes. Her eyes are also pupil-less and seem to glow slightly in the dark. This is due in part to her heritage, for Drow usually live underground and never come to the surface. Thankfully, she has lived most of her life above ground, and her eyes have adjusted to most light. Some bright lights still bother her, though.
The rest of her is tall- for a Drow, anyways- as she stands at 5'7". Her body is lean and slight due to many years travelling and fighting for her life. Were it not for the defined muscles visible on her arms and legs, one might mistake her for being frail. This is not the case, assuredly, and we would not suggest making that assumption. One of Zebey's favorite past times is making those who underestimate her, into pincushions. With her bow. Moving on, this elf dresses still as if she were back in her homeland- which is to say, heavily armored. She wears sturdy leather armor that has a couple of magical properties to it. Strong boots adorn her feet, and a travelers cloak is wrapped around her shoulders. The cloak has a hood, and she usually pulls it up to further obscure her face. A bow can be seen slung across her back, or perhaps in her hands, depending upon the situation. A quiver full of an array arrows can be seen peeking behind her shoulder. Only in the comfort of her home does she wear normal clothes, consisting of trousers and a tunic. She wears a necklace, has a ring on each hand, and a bracelet that she wears on her left hand (which is her dominant hand). All of these also have magical properties, and quite an origin story, to boot!
"Rough around the edges" is a nice way to describe Zebey when you first meet her. She's got a sharp tongue and a dark sense of humor. It's very clear that she doesn't trust most people- she certainly doesn't try to hide it. When you've been discriminated against your whole life, you tend to be wary of others and their ulterior motives. She doesn't filter what she thinks and also doesn't care about your feelings. Especially when in a high-danger situation, she doesn't have time for your stupidity or how sensitive you might be. Adventuring has hardened her, that's for certain, and it would take short of a miracle to get her to soften up. Should you tough it out and hang around long enough to earn the title of friend, you'll see some notable differences. She might hesitate just a little before telling you to stop being an idiot- or that you made a mistake. She'll also be more apt to help you in a tight situation, which is saying a lot, since she wouldn't put herself in harm's way otherwise. She shows her affection in actions, not words, which is hopefully something you can adjust to.
It's hard to say what motivates Zebey. She seems to make decisions for her own reasons, and not for any sort of greater good or anything like that. She spent many years fighting evil and helping rid her homeland of demons but one wouldn't consider her good, per say. She certainly killed demons, of course, and wanted to rid the world of them. But she was also the one that would use creative means to get information or to get things done, too, so there's that. Usually if you give her a logical reason to join you, she'll fight for a good cause. She's never been swayed by evil, either, so there's that. She's very smart and quick-witted, which has kept her alive all this time, and joining the ranks of demons as she says, "Isn't the smartest move to play when everyone already thinks you're evil." This being in part to her Drow heritage, of course. Gotta love stereotyping, right?
Hopefully Whazzit will do Zebey some good and get her to loosen up a little. In the meantime, here's to all the people that she's probably going to piss off. Hang in there, everyone. She gets better with time, we promise.
