It had been a pink winter, but this morning the sun was out and the clouds were sparse, and Muqin was taking the opportunity to stretch her wings... and while she was at it, maybe meet a new companion. As pale and golden as a Zephyr, the Boreas was nevertheless nothing so special, but would not let that stop her from making her potential mates work just as hard for her as she would for the rare, lucky rank. She cried out an echoing hawk-call, and waited perched on high branch of a giant baobab-like tree, peering out across the far open plains.

It really never did take so much to capture Koro's attention. He was resting, the perfect state necessary before giving chase, when a loud call caught his ear, and he turned his head, eyes wide, flapping his wings before he knew exactly which direction he was headed. A fair lady was asking for his attention. He spotted her easily, gentle colors a sweet contrast from the branches and the expanse of green below, and he wheeled around, debating whether or not he should land or if he needed to be on the ready to turn point and follow quickly behind. He was ready, she wouldn't lose him so easily.
